The EM-1200L is a monitored, fail-safe electromagnetic lock built for heavy-duty security requirements. Operating on DC12V or DC24V with a low current draw of 250mA / 500mA, it includes a built-in bond sensor for lock signal monitoring, providing enhanced security status feedback. While this model does not feature a door signal, it offers instant release for quick and reliable operation. It is also available in a double lock version (EM1200L x2) for securing larger or double-door installations.
Using ELOCK’s advanced Laminated E-Core technology, the EM-1200L is engineered with a customized thin laminated steel plate to reduce coil power loss while maximizing magnetic field strength to the armature plate. The premium physical finish includes a smooth, lustrous armature surface, anodized aluminium housing for corrosion resistance and durability, and ELOCK’s iconic three horizontal lines for brand identity and quality assurance. In contrast, low-quality EM locks often use thick laminated plates and rough finishes, which reduce efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
